My Background
As a young man, I thought long and hard about my career path. After graduating from high school, I was still undecided and worked in the family business while considering my options. Through a unique set of circumstances, I was introduced to chiropractic. After suffering an injury from an auto accident, I went to see a local chiropractor for treatment and experienced its effectiveness first hand. At the same time, a friend was going to school to become a chiropractor. His excitement about his future profession and my own experience led me to my chosen career path.
Once I decided to pursue chiropractic, I attended college, received a Bachelor of Science degree. Then I went to the Life University in Marietta, Georgia and earned my Doctorate in Chiropractic. After college, I spent six years in Boston working in multiple chiropractic offices to gain practical experience, but my heart was here at home on LBI. I moved back and opened my own practice in 2006, providing chiropractic care and non-surgical spinal decompression. A year later, I began working with laser therapy to help my mother recover from a severe ankle fracture.
In addition to chiropractic care, I have over a decade of experience with spinal decompression using the DRX9000 and Class IV Laser Therapy. I care about my patient’s overall well being and am passionate about helping them to live without pain and get back to doing the things they love. A lifelong resident, I live on LBI with my wife. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, raising Koi fish and spending time with family.
